Experience
Experience mentoring fellow high school students in math and essay editing, experience tutoring younger siblings (age 8-11) in math, science, homework and organizational skills. I was a track & field coach to elementary, middle school and high school students for 5 years, learning to effectively communicate concepts to children in a manner where they can not only understand the information but also retain it while having fun. I enjoy teaching children and watching them learn and grow, especially the aha moment when they've grasped something difficult.

Hobbies
I have been an avid reader my whole life and read whenever I have the time to. I cook and bake on a regular basis, I am especially interested in creating healthy but delicious bakes that can be consumed by people with specific allergies (lactose or gluten for example). I am still involved with track & field and exercise in general, I workout on a daily basis and my current love is weightlifting. I have always been called a nerd by my friends and family can hold lengthy conversations about Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games etc. I love movies and music and never go anywhere without my earbuds.
